Fourth Grade Class 1922-23
We would like to thank John Jones for donating the postcard that identifies the 1922-23 Fourth Grade Class from the Trafford Public School. You may have a relation in the photo as there are many familiar names. We are still researching a few of the missing first names, and the name of the teacher standing in the back row. The teacher is possibly Hulda E Swenson (labeled _ Swanson) in the back row. In the 1920 census, she was a border living with the Wampler family in Irwin, occupation teacher. She is also listed on the Public School teachers pension roster. For some of these students, they would become the Trafford High Class of 1931.
