Remembering Joe Frydrych
Joseph J. Frydrych Jr. age 86, of Trafford passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2021 in the Forbes Regional Hospital, Monroeville. Joe was born on November 30, 1934 in Wilmerding the son of the late Joseph and Josephine (Kozubal) Frydrych. Joe graduated from Trafford High School in 1953. He attended Clemson University on a football scholarship and played in 1954. He then served in the US Army. Prior to retirement Joe and his late wife Juliann L. (Bayko) Frydrych, owned the former Frydrych Tire Service in Trafford. Joe also was a member of the St. Regis Church and St. John Kanty Lodge #855 both in Trafford. Joe is survived by his children Mark R. Frydrych and Barry J. Frydrych (Nancy) all of Trafford; his grandchildren Drew Frydrych (Andrea) and Carly Martin (Bill); three great-grandchildren Ryan Joseph, Tyler William, and Kylee Joyce Frydrych; and his sister Elizabeth Racki and his brother Robert Frydrych. Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 2-6 in the John M. Dobrinick Funeral Home Inc., 702 7th Street, (State Rt. 130) Trafford. Parting prayers will be at 10 AM Monday in the funeral home followed by a funeral Mass at 10:30 AM in the St. Regis Church. Interment with military honors will follow in the Good Shepherd Cemetery, Monroeville.
