Woodcarvings on Display at the Smithsonian
As a highly skilled woodcarver, two of Mikan's pieces were chosen to be included in a yearlong display in 1967 at the Smithsonian Institution. President Lyndon B. Johnson and television personality Art Linkletter were among those who viewed the exhibit.
